Delete your Quest Claim account
DRAFT – needs attorney review.
In the app
Settings → Account → Delete account → review any unpaid prizes the app lists → Yes, delete my account. It takes effect immediately.
Without the app
Email questclaimapp@gmail.com from the address you signed up with and ask us to delete your Quest Claim account. We will confirm and delete it within [to be confirmed] days.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in (email and password) and your profile (age bracket, Terms acceptance, settings).
- Per-account game data: hunt progress, dig tries, sessions, sponsor dashboards and spotlights you own, public winner display name, and your jackpot country declaration (a log of the country code and date is kept, no longer linked to an account).
- On your device: saved progress, queued digs, report queue and the age screen answer.
What is kept, and why
These records are kept but are no longer linked to any account (they carry a random reference only):
- Claims and their review history, prize codes, payouts and the jackpot ledger: needed for contest administration, fraud prevention and financial records.
- Tax records (legal name, state, last 4 of the tax ID held by our tax-form provider, prize totals and forms filed): kept for the period tax law requires.
- Suspension records: kept to prevent abuse.
Unpaid prizes are forfeited
Deleting your account forfeits every prize that has not been paid yet, including prizes waiting for a tax form or identity check. Forfeited amounts are added to the progressive jackpot and cannot be restored, even if you create a new account. Before deleting, the app lists each unpaid prize and its amount and asks you to confirm. Open claims do not stop you from deleting. If you ask us to delete your account by email, we will tell you about any unpaid prize and its amount and ask you to confirm before we delete.
